
This is the Quigong chart, upon which the basic principles of Tai'Qi are based. I have been practicing Tai'Qi for about three years and it has definitely helped my breathing (I have mild respiratory difficulties.) The whole basis of Tai'Qi is to control your breathing and inner energies (Qi.) These principles allow me to control anger, distress and make concentrated decisions. Practicing this martial art, for it is considered a "slow" martial art, is one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I practice RyuKyu Kempo as well which is similiar to, yet faster than Tai'Qi. I would highly suggest these to anyone wishing to get exercise and gain knowledge of "self" defence.
